Construction device: Tower Hoist Channel Type

An equipment used for lowering or lifting a load by the means of lift-wheel or a drum around the chain wraps or rope is known as Hoist. There are two types of hoist, Angle Type, and the Channel Type. Although the angle type hoist is a commonly used tool at the construction sites for transporting the concrete to the construction location, Channel Type helps in material handling during the construction. It is available with robust design and high level of working performance. It is an affordable machinery with corrosion resistance and easy maintenance. These types of hoist are built of two or one cages (Cars) that travel vertically along the shack tower sections. These sections are attached to the building for the stability. The modernized construction uses motorized rack and pinion system.  

These are mainly used in large scales construction projects like high building or major hospitals. It is used for various reasons like carrying materials, personnel, and tools quickly between the ground and higher flower or for the construction site between the floors. These are of three types; personnel to move personnel, move material, and dual-rated which is capable of doing both.
